He died July 28, 1950 in Pomona, California. Andy was brother of Roy, Marion, Harvey, and half-brother of Maude and Ruth. He was only 11 years old when his mother died and shortly thereafter he, Roy, and Marion moved with their father, George, to the homestead in Vernon. Andy took his mother's place in many ways to finish raising his brothers. He was their guide, guardian, and inspiration. He kept them together, knowing they had to support each other. Because of this, the brothers were even closer than they otherwise would have been. By all accounts, Andy was brilliant, and was a musical and mechanical genius. By the end of his 8th grade year, he was the teacher of the one-room schoolhouse at the Vernon Settlement. He graduated himself from 8th grade, then attended high school at St. Johns. On June 25, 1930, Andy married Hazel Hunt in Gallup, New Mexico. They raised four children. His main occupation as an adult was railroad fireman and engineer for the Santa Fe Railroad, with his home being Winslow. He had a problem with alcohol, but never let it affect his responsibilities in taking care of his family. Andy died July 28, 1950 in Pomona, California at age 44 due to an accident, and was buried in St. Johns, Arizona. Everyone who knew Andy said he was sweet, kind, loving, and even-tempered. ==Children with Hazel Hunt== ===LIVING Wilhelm=== ===George Alma Wilhelm=== *Born July 14, 1934 in St. Johns, Arizona. *Died June 2, 1967 in Winslow, Navajo, Arizona. ===LIVING Wilhelm=== ===LIVING Wilhelm=== ==Images== <gallery widths="250px"> File:1911 George Maude Naomi Roy Marion Andy.jpg|Zemira George Wilhelm, Maude Naomi Freeman, Nancy Naomi Gibbons, Carl LeRoy Wilhelm, Marion Walter Wilhelm and George Andrew Wilhelm in 1911.
